Yes, Leah Kate Reece

is a qualified molecular biologist. Having always found the world of the unexplained particularly interesting, she developed a writing compulsion – a better term for passion. She lives in her own worlds most of the time, but is currently located in a coastal town, South Africa, where she spends hours at the beach, playing guitar and playing tennis. The stories and the voices in her head are there anyway, so she simply writes them down legibly each day she is able to. She owes everything she has to God and thanks Him for the priviledge of being able to call herself an author.

Her first novel Decipher: Laws of Activation was published on Amazon in March 2026.
